Achievement

  • Head of the Zoology Department being Exhibition on Biodiversity 16-17th November 2011 sponsored by UGC extension activities. Successfully organised exhibition. This programme was specially organised for school students. The aim of department was to create awareness about biodiversity among school students. We also arranged the visit of well equipped laboratory of dept. of zoology for student and their teachers. Invited school administration highly appreciated the program. Students and teachers expressed their views in feedback.

  • Lead convener – State level Seminar on “Effect of Global Climatic change on Biodiversity & Conservation”. Successfully organised this seminar. Approximate 30 teachers send their abstract in this seminar.

  • Coordinater –State level workshop on research methodology 20/01/2011 successfully organized department.

  • One minor project On Hepatotoxicity in Sickle cell population has been sanctioned by Govt Digvijay college, Rajnandgaon. The project is ongoing.

 Technical skills

  • Good work experience to handle microtome, chromatography, microbes staining, limnological experiments, hematological experiments and fish identification of fresh water fishes.
