Department of Geography

It was established in July 1983. It started with UG programme with one post of assistant professor. In 1993, PG programme in geography commenced. With sanctioning of 2 more teaching posts, the strength of teaching staff increased to 3; one professor and two assistant professors. Being equipped with a practical laboratory, it got one post of laboratory technician and one post of laboratory. In the year 2015, one more post of assistant professor was sanctioned. Present scenario is as follows;
